Looking for female roommate (late 20s/early 30s) for bedroom in large 2-BR apt in luxury doorman building. Available November, 1st (possibly sooner, move in date is a little flexible) to share with 27-yr-old professional female.
Located in new luxury building on a unique private drive in a very safe and quiet neighborhood that is perfect for sleeping. Apartment has great light, overlooks sunny, private courtyard, large windows in your room and hardwood floors, 24-hour doormen and concierge, large closet space, dishwasher (!), laundry and storage in the building, marble counter bathroom, high-speed internet connected bedrooms, digital cable with a DVR and your bedroom has its own phone line and central A/C and heat controls. Your bedroom is approximately 10’ x 11’. There's also an attached garage in case you have a car. Utilities are minimal. 3 blocks from the 6 train, 4 blocks from Central Park and top museums (Guggenheim, MET, Neue Gallery), restaurants, etc. Grocery stores and gyms are 1 block away.
My current roommate is moving in with her boyfriend and I am very, very sad to see her go. The bedroom currently has a full sized bed, two night stands and a dresser that she is willing to sell (or she can take with her if you already have bedroom furniture).
A little about me: I work as an associate at a small financial firm with 9-6ish hours. I am neat, clean, respectful and considerate. Social on weekends but never bring the party home. I don’t smoke and I don’t have any pets. I would expect the same from a roommate. I don’t need to be BFF’s with my roommate but wouldn’t mind grabbing a drink together here and there.
Unfortunately, I am going to be away the first week of October and would prefer to have the room rented before then so that I do not have to worry about it. I would like to show the apartment on Wednesday September, 9th from 6:30pm to 9pm but I am flexible. Please e-mail me a little bit about yourself if you are interested and we’ll go from there. Proof of employment and or a credit check may be required.
