The room is great in that its basically 2 rooms in one-
Loft-
the loft can fit a queen size mattress and box spring if you are 5'4 or shorter or just a mattress if you are taller.
There is a window up by the bed as well.
****As a bonus, our current roommate is looking to sell his 14 month old
full size bed and bedding. so the room can come with a bed if you need it to
Living room area-
Under the loft-bed its pretty big -your own personnel living room- i had a couch, table, book shelves, dresser and TV. PLUS all my clothes - the closet is HUGE. Seriously I love this room, I've lived in it for 8 years !
About the rest of the place-
Its filled with an amazing vibe and and fun people all on different schedules- sometimes you'll never see them ! But in a good way...
One Roommate travels the world opening restaurants, her boyfriend, or ,
the second roommate, he is a comedian,rock star, bartender (they live downstairs and have own LR and BDRM)
the other is - me- I'm an event planner
and you- what do you do?
Apt has a backyard with a BBQ and outdoor furniture- this is exclusively ours- we don’t share with anyone else in the bldg
a comfy living room, with all the fixen’s (flat screen, hghspd Internet, new furniture,etc)
a pretty decent size kitchen we all share and sometimes have our super duper “chef” of a roommate cook
And a washer and dryer!
Apt is close to the hippest bars, 1/9 line ( Christopher Street subway) and ACE BDF lines (West 4th St. subway) excellent restaurants, cool shops, etc. SMALL pets are OK
rent is $1600 a month (plus one month security)
