This is a wonderful apartment: 700+ square feet - a huge space for a 1-bedroom in Manhattan. Check the pictures below. This is not a share, you get the entire apartment! There is a large bedroom with a queen-size bed, large kitchen, living room with a big comfortable couch, and a separate area for a study (and a fully automatic air mattress). Fresh, clean bedding and towels provided upon arrival. Very clean, neat and un-cluttered. High-speed wireless internet connection for your laptop. $145 per night $135 for 4 nights or more -- no other fees or taxes of any kind.
Charming apartment in a pre-war building on the top (4th floor) in one of the most desirable (and safest) neighborhoods in New York: Upper East Side, Manhattan. Bright, with lots of natural light, and very quiet for Manhattan. Windows in front face the street, windows in back overlook a garden and park. Nice details like wooden shutters on the windows, a marble mantle, porcelain tub, ceiling fan and stylish old-world moldings add to the character of the place. There is also Air conditioning, tv with basic cable and a stereo system (and an full-size electric piano too!).
A short walk to Central Park, the Met, Guggenheim, galleries, Madison Avenue boutiques or the promenade along the river. Many excellent restaurants in all price ranges and lots of grocers and specialty shops right outside. I actually keep a menu folder organized by cuisine with 100+ restaurants nearby (this is a very popular area for dining out). Very easy subway or taxi ride to Times Square, downtown, etc.
This is my apartment, and I am looking for guests who are low key, relatively quiet and will keep it clean and be respectful. Please indicate if you have children or babies. No pets, and no smoking.
