This is a very nice and clean apartment on the 4th floor in a 24 hour doorman building right on Central Park at the Pond and the Great Hill. An oasis in the City and a great place to relax and run, bike or skate. Very close to Columbia University. The neighborhood is safe, subway stations are only 1 block away. Museums are along and across the park. The apartment has a Living Room (12’x18’), a Bedroom (9’ x11’)with Queen size bed, a windowed Bathroom with tub + shower and a small, functional Kitchen. It is quiet, due to very solid construction. The total area is ca 500 sq ft (45 sq m). The apartment has 10 ft. high ceilings, two bow windows in LR, a diagonal view to park and newly plastered and painted walls. Two elevators in the building, laundry in the basement. No smoking, no dogs. High speed internet. Ideal for a temporary stay in the city to work or study. And great if you like walking, running , biking or skating and fresh air! The price is $125 per night, $800 for 1 week, $1,500 for 2 weeks and $2,900 per month + a refundable deposit of $100.00. Available Dec 10- Dec 24, 2009 and after Jan 24, 2010.
