I'm starting a new job in the Financial District in October. My wife, our toddler, and I will be searching for a place in Manhattan or elsewhere soon. Any suggestions when I should fly out to New York to look? I'm thinking mid September, but is that cutting it too close?
I've lived in NYC before...looking for a 1 or 2 bedroom either in the financial district, midtown, ues or uws (below 110th) for approx. $2,000.
