This is a one-bedroom apartment partitioned into two large rooms—you get the bigger one, has two huge East-facing windows that get incredible light. With 11’ ceilings, there is a gigantic closet, large enough to be a tiny office. There’s room in here for a bed, a desk, a couch and a table. Apartment available totally furnished, partially furnished, or unfurnished, as you wish! The bedrooms are separated by the kitchen and bath, so they should be quite quiet and private.
The kitchen is very nice and totally separate and totally furnished, and the bathroom is surprisingly large and has a fabulous old bathtub and 2 medicine cabinets! There’s loads of hot water, the building is clean and well-managed, with an on-site super and handyman, who fixes everything the same day. New and clean laundry in building but no storage.
You may be thinking this is an impossible location and an impossibly nice place, but it’s a NY story—my fiancé left me and stuck me with a lease I can’t afford!
I’m a 31 year-old female writer, student, and teacher at Columbia, who is home most of the time. I’m very quiet and neat and want someone responsible and quiet, as well. I’m flexible and accommodating, but like peace. Would LOVE a Sinai med student or the like!
I HAVE A SMALL DOG. She is super friendly and loves everyone. I keep her very clean; she’s a puppy and she does bark a bit sometimes, but it’s not problematic. She doesn’t bite or growl, is active but not hyper, not at all needy, and would love to have another person around to pet her sometimes!
