WOW!!! Only $495/month! Fast train ride to Columbia! Available January 1st.

WOW! This room is cheap ($495/month) and it is in Manhattan! (well, far North Manhattan anyway) This price is cheap and it even INCLUDES GAS, HEAT, POWER, WATER, some cable t.v. channels and even WIRELESS INTERNET for FREE! How could it get any better than this???

The room for rent is furnished in new IKEA furnishings. There is a mini-fridge, a lamp and a little t.v. for you already there in the room. There are big closets that go right to the ceiling for extra storage. The windows overlook a courtyard with beautiful, large trees. The room available is, however, really small. (approximately 11'X12')

The kitchen/hall/bathroom are very clean (we have a cleaning chore list). We are only about a 3 minute walk to the Dyckman station on the 1/9 subway line. That train will drop you off at the front doors of Columbia University (the 116st station). We are also about a 5 minute walk to the A express train which will take you down to Times Square in only 20 minutes. There are lots of grocery stores, awesome parks, the post office, the medieval Cloisters museum, restaurants and all services within a short walking distance. You truly don’t need a car to live here.

We're male and female professionals/students in our twenties and thirties. We’re easy going, clean, trustworthy and friendly.

We are looking for a specific type of person to fill this room..

1. Male or female (it doesn't matter)
2. no pets allowed (sorry pooch and kitty)
3. non-smoker (I don’t think you want to walk down FOUR flights of stairs just to have a smoke)
4. LONG TERM ROOMMATE! You must need a room for at LEAST a year. 2 or 3 years would be even better. 4 years is not unreasonable. There are NO short term leases here. Sorry!
5. You must be alright with staying in a really small (yet well organized) room and sleeping on a loft bed.
5. Employed full time or going to school.
6. Responsible - your rent must be paid on time.

The room is available on January 1st and it will be rented by that date.
