I am Jarrett, a stand-up comic and writer from Central New Jersey (Manalapan/Marlboro), right outside NYC trying to find a good place to live in LA. This way I can do many more gigs and get out of NJ already! About Me: Very funny guy, quick-witted, responsible, comedian & writer and all around good person and BIG 10 graduate. Been on TV a few times and have had articles on movies published all over the country and overseas. Recently started freelancing for www.mania.com. I also am a host and do movie reviews online in front of a green screen (like the weatherman) where I improv the review for a new website. I have been trying to move to LA for a while now but something always seems to fall through. I am very neat and keep my things in my space, I do freelance writing and copy editing by day to support my stand-up comedy habit and also bartend.
I am a straight Jewish male with no attachments right now. I am up for living alone or having a roommate if the situation is right. I have lived with both girls and guys and alone so it does not really matter. I would like to live in a place-complex where I am able to meet new people, make friends, etc. I have over 1120 DVD's/BLU-RAY's so cancel that Netflix membership, a BLU-RAY player, a brand new XBOX 360 Elite Player (Madden '09, FIFA Street, PURE, Guitar Hero World Tour, Street Hoops, etc). My DVD's are all documented on this site http://ping.fm/v3Kvq I also have a full ROCKBAND 2 set w/ the new BEATLES game. I also run a small but very fun eBay business selling hard to find toys, action figures and comic books so I am really a big kid. A lot like Tom Hanks from BIG. I just turned 33 last month but look 26. I just got back from a West Coast trip to help my brother who is a professional comic book artist whose cartoon airs in 87 countries and then spent some time in LA. He is a crazy talented artist & writer www.jasontkruse.com whose comic book was bought by WB KIDS and the cartoon aired last year before the network went off the air. He just had a new BATMAN childrens book drop last week in all major book stores!.
I am really trying to start my whole life over. I am VERY sociable, love going out for drinks (part of being a comic) and am very respectful of everyone's privacy.
