Your NYC for my Castle in Ireland

(My Original Blog Post: http://ping.fm/5sg9D)
Hi

I would like to go to NYC for 2-3 months (from mid August) and am looking for someone who would like to swap their apartment in Manhattana for an apartment in my castle in Co. Kilkenny, Ireland.

Shankill Castle is set in 117acre of parkland, gardens and woodland. The village of Paulstown is at the end of the avenue and Kilkenny City is 10 miles away ( Dublin is 63 miles).

The Castle itself dates from the 17th century and has some wonderful features, such as the Orangery, the ornamental canal, a very elegant 19th century stable yard, an early Christian church (in ruins), and an apple arch in the walled vegetable garden. The atmosphere is definitely eccentric and the decorative style is best described as eclectic.

The West Wing is a self contained apartment on the first floor with a sitting room with a bed, bathroom, a kitchen with diswasher, cooker and fridge, (laundry room and freezer in basement) , and an impressive bedroom with a romantic antique 4 poster bed, corner fireplace and great veiws.

There is studio space available in the farmyard.

please email me for more photos and info
