I'm moving downtown to another apartment so i'm looking to fill my room in this great place. I've lived here for 1 1/2 years and it seems that when people move in, they stay for a long time.
The Building: 10th floor apartment on a quiet treelined street in midtown east. . Full time doorman, elevator, and laundry in basement. Close to E,V, and 6 trains, grand central, and bus lines.
The Apartment: wood burning fireplace, open kitchen with breakfast bar, dishwasher, 4 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, 60" TV in livingroom. Fully furnished except for bedroom. (yes it sounds too good to be true. this place is greatl. it's truly become a home instead of just an apartment)
Your room: your room is the master bedroom of the apartment. There is a pressurized wall through the middle that divides it into two bedrooms. That means you must walk through one room to get to yours but the master bathroom is in your part of the bedroom. It has a full CLEAN tub and lots of space. I lived in this room for over a year and never had any problems. Furniture (TV, nightstand, bed, dresser and desk) may be for sale if you need it.
The roommates: 3 girls aged 24-28. One works in finance and has very long hours and is rarely home, one waitress (graciously brings home yummy guacamole to share), and one pharmaceutical sales rep in NJ who works 9-5. Looking for another girl who doesn't mind watching gossip girl and colbert report in the Livingroom after-work together but still has her own social life.
