1BR in 2BR Renovated Brownstone w15 Bath washdry AC yard space Harlem 1300

(My Original Blog Post: http://ping.fm/dXFtZ)
Young professional guy living in the historic Mount Morris Park district, is looking for a roommate to share newly remodeled, large apartment. I've had good luck with my past two roommates- which I hope to continue with my future roommate.

The room is a good size, large enough for queen sized bed and still have space. There is a large closet in the room itself, as well as having use of a second large closet as you enter the apartment. There is an air conditioner in the room, installed in the wall so it does not obstruct the window at all. The window looks down into the shared yard space in the back with patio tables, chairs, BBQ area etc. A good place to feel like you've escaped the city for a bit.

The apartment is located right across the street from a park, so no windows facing into the windows of the building across the street, and lots of green space. Also not a huge amount of traffic since the park blocks the cross streets in the area, so pretty quiet, which is nice. The space is very large with high ceilings and lots of light with eastern exposure. There is one full bath and one half bath, laundry area with washer and dryer in the apartment, and also a dishwasher. Apartment has wireless for internet with cable service. The subway is also very accessible. The nearest lines are the 2 and 3 express lines, about a 4 min walk. Going express it takes about 10 minutes from here to 42nd Times Square or 15 minutes to 14th Street. The 5 and 6 trains are also fairly convenient; a bit longer walk- about 12-15 min. Metro North is also very accessible, about 8-10 min walk from the apartment.

I'm a pretty low-key person, definitely like to have fun but also enjoy my down-time. Although I occasionally let my bedroom fall into chaos, I like to keep all the common apartment areas presentable, clean and net. This is my home, so I want a roommate who understands that, can feel comfortable and at home themselves. Move in will require the 1st month rent and deposit of same amount. Apartment will be available SEPTEMBER 1, 2009. If you're interested and have any other questions or would like to come by and see the place, please respond with your name, the best contact number to reach you and when you're available.
