This is an awesome 4br. All of my current roommates are moving out and I've replaced two with friends, but we are in need of a cool, laid-back 4th to complete the set.
About the apartment:
Great location - 70th b/w Lex and Park. 2 blocks from the 68th street 6 Stop and 2 blocks from Central Park. The apartment is a full floor of a townhouse with only 3 apartments in it. We are the top floor , so we have a ton of privacy and it's pretty quiet. The living room is a good size and we recently added a new couch and recliner, new coffee table, and new TV stand. We also have a Plasma TV and kitchen table in there. It's a living room that is designed for having people over, watch sports, and take advantage of the space.
About us:
3 active, outgoing 24/25 year old guys. We all work in finance or accounting so we are gone from 8-6, at least, every day. Typically we are out doing things Thursday - Saturday nights and taking advantage of our great location during the day on weekends (we spend a lot of time in the park on weekends). We definitely like to have a good time and enjoing having friends over regularly. While we may drink like we're still in college sometimes we definitely avoid having our apartment look like it. So, expect to have clean shared space. We also all enjoy sports, so hopefully you do as well (especially football).
About you:
Neat, responsible, normal professional around our age. We'd like someone who can hang out with the group and interact with our friends (and vice versa). Please be clean and considerate. It's a big place, but two rooms are on the living room, so being considerate (especially when people want to sleep) is a must. And since we have nice things please know how to keep things nice (meaning doing your dishes and using coasters ). Wanting to chill out with the roommates and drink a few beers would also be a good sign.
About your room:
Bedroom by the living room, but you defiitely have privacy. It is big enough for a queen size bed and few pieces of furniture (about 10x12). Most likely you will have an AC when you move in, since I think the current roommate is leaving his. The room has hardwood floors, exposed brick, and its own closet.
If you're interested please email me some details about yourself and we can go from there. The room is available at the end of August and we will be signing a lease for Sept 1. You will be on the lease. Rent is $1225 and utilities/cable/cleaning lady will run $100ish/month depending on electricity use. You'll need to be able to cover your portion of the salary requirement (40x rent) and we'd prefer if you didn't have to get a guarantor. Thanks and good luck!
