Wild West Wyoming Cowboy Vacation Medicine Bow Wyoming

(My Original Blog Post: http://ping.fm/CCBGj)
Interested in a Wild West Cowboy vacation housing swap? Come to Medicine Bow, Wyoming and swap our 3 bedroom 1 bath home in a quaint small town of 255 people for your Manhattan apartment. Medicine Bow Wyoming has some of the finest fishing, hunting and nearby ranches for a cowboy run. We can hook you up with local ranches that offer packages for riding horses, cattling, haying and working on a ranch. Our home is near Historic sites like the Virginian Hotel where Owen Wister wrote his novel "The Virginian," and later a film was made based on this novel staring Diane Lane. Wyoming is the setting of many old west outlaws such as Butch Cassidy and the Sundance kid and others who were fighting the eminent domain rights of the railroad. There are wide-open spaces and miles of open land. There are ghost towns, fossils, arrowheads and petrified wood that you can find while on a walk, old coal mining towns, hiking in the Medicine Bow National forest and not far from the Never Summer Mountian range in Colorado for skiing. There are many other small western towns nearby to visit. Wyoming is Forever the West!

This place is perfect for an outdoorsy type person or for a person who just wants to get away from the hussel and bustle of city for a while. I am a writer and like the scenary for inspiration as well as the quite still moments. The view of the large expanse with millions of stars is clear at night without buildings and lights to obstruct the view. This place is an excellent place for photographers, writers, those who enjoy some solitude and enjoy the romance of the West.

Below are pictures of the interior of the house and one of the town museum and historic Virginian Hotel.

We are flexible with dates. We love Manhattan and are ready to go visit for a while, anytime.
