My Manhattan studio for your Santa Monica starting Feb 1st Chelsea

(My Original Blog Post: http://ping.fm/YDLJV)
I'm looking for a long-term swap for me and my friend beginning Feb. 1st.
My 400-square-foot L-shaped studio is an oasis in the heart of Chelsea, below Times Square and within walking distance to the West Village. With yellow walls, a comfy red couch and chair, and an entire window wall facing south, the space feels like a bright, sunny French country hideaway on the third floor of a doorman building with an elevator and laundry facilities in the basement. The tiny kitchen has a full-sized stove/oven and refrigerator, microwave and toaster - and a pass-through window overlooking the living area. There is a flat-screen television (no cable), VCR, DVD player and stereo. In addition to a double bed, there is also a queen-sized pull-out couch, and I can have an airbed available as well. The big secret is the large roof garden on the 15th floor, with panoramic views of the city.

Located on the corner of a tree-lined brownstone street, the apartment is a two or three blocks from the red, blue and orange subway lines and blocks from major grocery stores like Whole Foods, Garden of Eden and Gristedes. Nearby landmarks include the Chelsea Hotel and the Joyce Theater. The movie theater is three blocks away, as are shopping destinations like Home Depot, Bed, Bath and Beyond, Buy Buy Baby and Filene's.
