A couple would like to get away for a few days, to relax and just spend some time outside of New York City. Anywhere within several hours of driving from New York City, anywhere quiet and peaceful, preferably a house in the woods, somewhere rural, or at least as close to nature as possible. Any time between January 2nd and 6th is possible. Looking forward to your offers.

In return you can stay in a great location in the middle of hip and active neighbourhood with unlimited cafes, restaurants, bars, etc. within short walking distance, in a simple, cozy and sunny East Village apartment, which has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It's best for one person or a quiet couple as there is only one new queen size sofabed with a comfortable mattress. Nonsmokers only, please. The space is clean and uncluttered, it's furnished tastefully and simply and has a nice northern view. Fully equipped kitchen, clean bathroom, and enough free closet space for your things, HDTV with basic channels and DVD player with small video collection for your pleasure, WiFi is available, even an iPod station - just bring your iPod.
