This is a beautiful, very spacious studio apartment in Manhattan's Upper East Side - one of the most desirable (and safest) neighborhoods in NYC. This is not a share -- you get the entire apartment! Lots of natural light in the daytime and very quiet at night (especially for Manhattan). Very comfortable queen size bed and also a queen size pull-out couch. Clean linens are provided and it's always neat, uncluttered and professionally cleaned before you arrive. High-speed wireless internet provided (just bring your own laptop) -- also cable TV, AC and all utilities included. $165 per night or $155 for 5 nights or more - No other fees or taxes or any kind.
The apartment is on the third floor of a very pleasant building - there is an elevator, nice lobby, video security and laundry facilities in the basement. Very sunny in the daytime (there is no building directly across the street) and very quiet at night. There are beautiful hardwood floors, and a brand-new bathroom and kitchen was just installed a year ago. Microwave, kitchen supplies, iron, and all basic household items provided, along with plenty of empty closet and drawer space. It's an easy walk to Central Park, the Guggenheim, the Met, Whitney ("Museum Mile), and all of the Madison Avenue boutiques and galleries. All around you there are many beautiful historic buildings, specialty shops, gourmet grocers, delis, bookstores and plenty of restaurants. This is a real "destination" area for dining out and there is every kind of cuisine imaginable, in every price range, all within a few blocks. Also just steps away from the apartment is Gracie Mansion (where the mayor resides) with a lovely park where you can take a leisurely stroll along the promenade taking in views of the river, lower Manhattan and Brooklyn. Subways and buses are just around the corner (it's a 5 minute train ride to Grand Central Station) and there is very easy access from the FDR Drive if you are driving (or taking a taxi).
I am looking for guests who are low-key, relatively quiet and will keep the place clean and be respectful. No pets and no smoking.
